United Outreach Ministries is a local non-profit organization that strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of those in our community who are less fortunate than others. This organization operates a secondhand store whose proceeds go towards buying hygiene products for the homeless population. All products sold in the store are donated by individuals or local businesses. Once the products are donated, volunteers sort through the donations to ensure the store is only selling products that meet the quality standards established by the organization. Everyone who shops at the store is helping to make a positive impact on the lives of homeless people in Myrtle Beach. As previously mentioned, the proceeds from the store are used to purchase hygiene products that many homeless people are unable to afford.
