Grand Strand Coffee is a locally owned coffee shop located in Market Common in Myrtle Beach. The shop is owned by the Thomas family who has more than 20 years of experience in the coffee industry. Bettina and Banks met in a coffee shop, and their lives have revolved around coffee ever since with Banks becoming a coffee trader. Their three children, Charlton, Keely, and Bella, started Grand Strand Coffee in 2018 as a mobile cold brew stand to make extra money during the summer. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the cart, the Thomas family decided to open a brick-and-mortar store in Market Common. Bettina now runs the day-to-day business with her children pitching in to help. Their goal is to spread happiness throughout their business, thus implementing “Good Coffee = Happy People,” as their mantra. Coffee, teas, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries, along with whole beans, cold brew concentrates, and merchandise can be purchased at the shop.
